Glasgow Airport
Glasgow Airport (GLA) is the busiest of Scotland's
three main international airports. It is just 15 minutes (some 12.5
miles) by car from Glasgow City Centre. Over 40 airlines serve
around 80 destinations. BAA recently announced they will
investment £290 million to transform Glasgow Airport into a
world-class gateway, deliver thousands of extra jobs, boost Scottish
business and tourism, and revolutionise the way people travel to and
from Scotland’s largest city.

National Rail
Glasgow has the largest urban rail network in the
UK outwith London, with rail services travelling to a large part of
the West of Scotland. Trains are run by First ScotRail, part of the
First Group that also runs the majority of bus services in the
country. There are two main railway terminals Central Station
and Queen Street Station. |
